An MPL contains a playlist that has been generated using a AVCHD digital camcorder.
It contains a list of references to a number of audio and MTS files that are stored elsewhere on a user’s computer and are uploaded along with the MPL file. The MPL playlist file is used for video and audio playback purposes.
