The Microsoft Virtual PC program is a virtualization program created by Microsoft that was first released in 2009 and is available for the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System. Microsoft Virtual PC is used to create virtual machines on the Windows desktop which can replicate the hardware of an actual computer and are capable of running a number of different Operating Systems. These virtual machines can run a range of Operating Systems at the same time and can easily swap between them.
